Thanks for visiting my site!
I am a behavioural and evolutionary biologist with a research focus on animal behaviour, sexual selection, and environmental changes.

In December 2024, I started a Forrest Fellowship at the Centre of Evolutionary Biology, University of Western Australia. Here, I will work with Associate Professor Joe Tomkins from the School of Biological Sciences to understand the effect of cattle growth hormone on dung beetles.
From 2022- 2024, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at Bob Wong Lab, Monash University. My research here majorly involved investigating the long-term effects of endocrine disruptors on invasive Australian freshwater fishes- i.e., mosquitofish and guppies.

I was awarded a PhD from the Research School of Biology at the Australian National University in July 2022. I was part of the Jennions Lab and Head Lab to work on sexual selection and ageing in male mosquitofish.

I completed undergraduate and master’s degrees from the Department of Zoology, University of Dhaka. My MS research primarily focused on studying the relationship between the aposematic common rose butterfly (Pachliopta aristolochiae) and its host plant, Aristolochia indica, which has a high medicinal value.
